It's been almost three weeks with no news in this fabulous Italian country. We got back from Rome find our friend Hervé unfortunately not accompanied by poor Mai who could not catch his flight because of a stupid ID card has expired, it's always good to Learn ... Despite this, visit this beautiful and great city of the ancient remains (as Caesar, his ancestors and friends have left us gladiators), the Vatican and its museum and of course some inevitable cafés.
Rome and the Romans
Meeting with our Uncle B ernard , father M artin which really helped us (thank you to him and others), and also once again, to the Quebec Josée to us made a quick tour of the Coloseum and with whom we had a great time.
Then we left the city along the coast and we stopped on the island of Elba. I do not know if Italy has many islands, but this one must be one of the most beautiful. Similar to Corsica but much smaller, it was probably part of it there are some million years. It is very wild, some beautiful villages and beaches colored tropical paradise. In spring, it's the right season, not yet overrun by tourists landings, and flawless for us to bike that can treat us to climb the beautiful hills of the island and down at full speed, with the only risk encounter a group of former French who wince with their bike to reach the top ...

It continues Pisa and its famous leaning tower, which has finally nothing extraordinary. It seems more impressive photograph actually. It continues with the "Five Lands" are five villages on the seafront in a beautiful setting. In central Italy , villages were still perched at the top of the hills, and being down the road, we had to climb for any visit. For the Five Lands, is reversed, the villages are on the beach but the road is all up and we must all go down and back to move on. To believe that in time, the Italians loved really a headache for nothing ... Finally, this is what gives it its charm.

We finish with a flourish by G enova very beautiful city with its architecture and paintings on the facades of buildings in the last century. And a boat show the port where we meet the crews of luxury yachts that we offer to go to their holiday season for show, just right to celebrate the 36 years to little Fred morning.

past 3 days, back in F rance by Menton, pearl of France apparently. Continuity Italy and the mountains, landscapes are so different. Monaco, nothing very interesting, especially in preparation for the F1 grand prix and then N ice where we meet Vanessa, M icka and his father that we are hosting for two days and is the friend of good old Max, who always wanders in Argentina right now (good luck for your last few weeks old).
This allows us two short days of quiet rest in the sunny Mediterranean, not negligible. Feeling very strange the first time to talk with everyone and hear everyone around us to speak French without having to make the effort to translate ...
