WHAT THIS WORK?

In 2011, libraries query the world of work

The definition of work is multifaceted and complex. Act citizen? Livelihood or social recognition? Historical heritage or intangibles? To explore the different aspects of work in contemporary society, the network declined Rn'Bi its cultural programming in three areas spread over the year.


Entry into working life from late January to March. How to materialize our hopes and expectations out of school desks, when we address this unknown world?


Working conditions from April to July. The professional environment in which we operate daily changes our physical and psychological behaviors at the individual and collective. What are the impacts?


Trades yesterday and ajourd'hui , from September to December. Intangible heritage of know-how yesterday that endures today. What are the changes according to technological developments and morals.

In partnership with the FRAC Haute-Normandie
Two photographic series exposed: that of Charles Freger around high school students to professionals
Haute-Normandie and Jean-Louis Schoellkopf, a mill located in Louviers just before its closure, and on the site of a large hotel in Annecy.

In Spring Framework poets
With Christophe Fiat, writer, director and performer.
The artist invests the library system by providing a poetic term for itinerant with a backdrop, the expression of the deep ties that bind man to nature. Accompanied by his guitar, Christophe Fiat offers a reverie about the Surrealist poet Jules Supervielle. Inspired by the sound poetry and contemporary dance, its parts are needed very soon in the form of performances that combine text, through reading aloud, and music, with an electric guitar used as a sound sculpture.
